Abstract

Sudden cardiac collapse or cardiac arrest is a complication that- may occur during any phase of anesthesia.
A case of successes cardiac resuscitation with intermittent positive pressure ventilation and closed chest cardiac massage in association with the administration of effective drugs for sudden cardiac collapse that occurred during his stay in the post-anesthetic recovery room was experienced, and an attempt is made in this presentation. to review the literature concerning sudden cardiac collapse in the post anesthetic period.
